COP29 2024

La Conferencia de las Partes, o COP, reúne a los estados miembros de la Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático, cada año, durante dos semanas, para avanzar en el alcance de los Acuerdos de Paris, específicamente mantener el aumento de la temperatura media mundial lo más cerca posible de 1,5 grados centígrados por encima de los niveles preindustriales.

La próxima edición, COP29, se celebrará en Bakú, Azerbaiyán, del 11 al 22 de noviembre 2024.

Filantropía Cortes Solari, a través de Fundación MERI, organiza una vez más el pabellón SCIENCE FOR CLIMATE ACTION, junto al IPCC y la WMO, buscando promover el rol de la ciencia en la toma de decisiones, así como la difusión de los conocimientos técnicos y sociales que la comunidad científicas y las organizaciones sociales producen.
